Jill Haley has been an Artist in Residence at 10 US National Parks. While in residence she writes music that reflects her experiences. Quietude-Music for Shenandoah National Park, is the most recent recording of her residency in the VA National Park.

About the event

Jill Haley has written nature inspired music based on her time spent as an Artist in Residence in 10 US National Parks. Her residency stays have resulted in the release of 12 recordings for Cor Anglais chamber and symphony music with numerous performances throughout the country. Quietude- Music for Shenandoah National Park, is the most recent recording of her residency in the VA National Park. She will share the music with video of the images that inspired the works. David Cullen on guitar, and Sue McDevitt on piano, will join oboist/English horn player, Jill Haley. 


Jill also plays with York Symphony Orchestra and is a busy in the recording studio not only with her own music, but adding to the texture of other artists music with her pastoral English Horn playing.
